In the Classrooms
Welcome to our classroom activities page! Throughout the festival week the poets joined our classrooms, enriching the students’ understanding of their work and culture of origin. At times the poets worked closely with the student translators. Other times the students earnestly engaged the poets in dialogue through questions or comments about their work. The gallery you are about to enter provides you with a glimpse of these and other interactions. The gallery photographs were taken both by photography students and a member of our design team. The willingness of our students to lend their talents to the recording of these activities is greatly appreciated.
