Following the successful mentoring program at previous annual meetings, we are again offering a mentoring program for the benefit of junior scientists attending the 2007 Annual Meeting. The goal of this program is two-fold:

• to optimize the educational and professional experience of mentees attending the conference;
• to assist the mentees' socialization into the field of mathematical biology.

The deadline for submission of minisymposium proposals has passed. Contributed paper proposals will be accepted beginning March 15, 2007.

December 22, 2006

• The meeting will be held jointly with MathFest, the summer meeting of the Mathematical Association of America, which will take place at the same hotel, August 3-5, 2007.
• The meeting will be followed by the Joint Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of America and the Society for Ecological Restoration International August 5-10, also in San Jose, at the San Jose Convention Center.

• Minisymposium proposals are being accepted until January 31, 2007. (Extended to February 15, 2007) Click here for more details.
• Contributed paper proposals will be accepted from March 15 until May 15.
• Poster proposals will be accepted from June 1 until July 15.
