  NOTICES
  • This page is used for late-breaking developments, as they arise.
  • A STUDY GUIDE for the final exam is posted here.
  • MONDAY DEADLINE FOR THE VIDEO QUIZZES:
    • Video quizzes are described here (just click).
    • Each quiz should present ten random questions on the chosen video and score each one 1 point, so that 10 is a perfect score. (A grade of 10 has been posted for two students who appear to have gotten perfect or near-perfect scores on earlier versions of the tests.)
    • Each quiz may be taken up to three times; only your highest score counts.
    • Each attempt has a 20 minute time limit.
    • Quizzes may be taken at any time until the end of the day (11:59 p.m.) on the last day of classes. I advise you not to postpone them too long, but to do them whenever your workload is light (very unlikely as the end of the semester approaches).
    • As of October 1, everything is working properly.     Please email me if you encounter any problems, or if anything seems not to be working as described above.
  • TEXTBOOK "TEST YOUR KNOWLEDGE" QUIZZES:
    • If you encounter problems, please email me.
  • LAB CONFLICTS / MISSING A LAB:
Labs are an important part of this course.   Please try to attend your assigned lab section (attendance is taken).  If you are unable to attend at your usual time (because of an illness or an important conflict), please try to attend a different lab section for that week, and be sure to inform me.
It doesn't matter if another instructor is running the lab; just inform them of your situation.
All lab sections meet in room 313 S&T.

Lab sections meet  Mon 1:30 pm, Tue 1:30 pm, Tue.6:00 pm, Wed 1:30 pm, Thur 1:30 pm, Fri. 12:30 pm.
For the first few weeks, labs begin on Wednesday of each week and are repeated through the following Tuesday.
A more detailed schedule is available by clicking here.
  • Please email me at any time if you have any questions or concerns.
