Bio 101 — GRADING and EXAMS
( SUBJECT TO CHANGE )

• A. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  To receive a passing grade in this course, you must, at minimum:
  1. Attend at least 70% of scheduled classes;
  2. Complete at least 70% of all lab assignments;
  3. Check the Class Notices page at least every other day (daily during the week preceding any exam).
  
  
• B. OVERALL GRADE PERCENTAGES:
  For students who meet the minimum requirements listed under A (above), grades are determined as follows:

  First exam	20%
  Second Exam	20%
  Final Exam	20%
  Lab grade	33%
  Attendance	4%
  In-class questions (*)	3%
  TOTAL	100%

  * On occasion, I call on individual students during class and ask questions to check on
  their understanding.   Responses are recorded as correct or incorrect/no-response.
