Welcome!

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at Bates College.

I am a Ph.D. in Economics, graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz in 2007. Prior to my graduate studies in the US, I received my B.A. from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB) and M.A. from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

My former professional experience includes Visiting Assistant Professor at Vassar College; Fellow Economist Researcher in the Asian Pacific Department at the International Monetary Fund; Research Assistant at Cabezon Capital Management in San Francisco; and Fellow Economist Researcher in the Department of Economic Analysis at the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona in Spain.

My primary fields of concentration are International Finance, International Trade, Open Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics and Econometrics.
