Acadia National Park, February 2005
|
|
For our February break, Melanie and Paul visited on their way in from Ireland. We spent three days exploring the winter scene at Acadia. The weather was incredibly cooperative. It snowed for the entire trip, so we were able to snowshoe and cross-country ski through the beautiful surroundings! There were very few visitors and we had the park practically to ourselves.

We really enjoyed snow-shoeing to the beach and seeing the sand, snow and water all together. |

One our way out of town, we drove past this cove filled with sea ice. |
Paul was insistent on exploring it. |
Unfortunately, we never saw him again.... |
