Those mysterious messages

Dear Conference Attendees,

Most of you have probably figured out by now why you received what appeared
to be personal mail in your e-mail boxes.  Before I left on July 20
(returning to Blacksburg today), I set up an e-mail list for the Watermarks
conference in October.  Some of you have replied to that or the subsequent
"mailing" of the program thinking you were replying personally to me but
instead distributing your messages to the list.  If you do not wish to
remain on the list, please notify me (dmosser@vt.edu). If you do wish to
remain on the list, please try to remember that replies to the list will be
broadcast to the list membership.

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing/meeting all of you (here we say
"y'all") in October.
