The team had a great meet this weekend, placing second at ECACs with 56 points, behind only Williams' 58. Rich McNeil had one heck of a meet, placing first in the shot and disc, and second in the hammer. His throw of 187-5 in the hammer was a three foot PR, and automatically qualifies him for nationals. His throw of 166-6 in the disc was nearly an eight foot PR, and is only two feet shy of the automatic qualifying mark. Murtagh and Ethan also had phenomenal throws in the disc, placing third and sixth with significant PR's of 158-5, and 153-9. Murtagh's throw provisionally qualifies him for nationals.

Ethan also did well in the shot, placing eighth with a throw of 47-3.75. Brett placed second in the decathlon with 5,873 points. Bates had solid performances in the 4x100 and the 4x400, placing ninth in the 4x100 in 43.51, and placing tenth in the 4x400 with a seasonal best time of 4:21.
