The first record broken this weekend was the DMR. The team- comprised of Tully Hannan’ 14 in the 1200, Ben Levy’ 14 in the 400, James LePage’13 in the 800, and Noah Graboys ’14 in the 1600- ran a time of 9:55.1, crushing the old time of 9:58.1 set just last year. Not long after, James LePage came back and set a new school record in the 1000, running a time of 2:27.9.
David Pless’13 finished second at the meet, first among D3 athletes, in the shot put with a throw of 55-.75
Isaiah Spofford ‘15 ran 22.66 on the 200, moving him up to #5 on the Bates’ all-time list
Tony Haeuser ran 8.69 in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing fourth among D3 athletes.
Mike Martin’14 and Nick Barron’13 ran strong miles, finishing together in 4:19.21 and 4:19.23
Tufts:
Sean Enos’ 15 won the shot put with a throw of 48-10; he also won the weight throw with a throw of 49-5.75
Ben Chebot’ 12 won the 3k in a time of 8:48.92; Christian Sampson’ 15 finishing second in a time of 8:51.
Myles Black-Ingersoll ’13 finished second in the 800 with a pr of 2:03.57 and Zack Pollich’15 finished third.
John Wisener’15 finished third in the Pole Vault with a vault of 13-5.25
Charley Kenyon ’15 finished third in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 9.12
