Bates' second seven were given a chance to shine at the ECACs Championship as the varsity seven were sat so that they will be rested for Regionals this upcoming Saturday. The guys ran exceedingly well, finishing 4th out of 44 teams. The meet was a great experience for them to be able to race at the front of a competitive field. Eric Kimball led the way for Bates' scoring runners, finishing 20th overall in a time of 27:10. The rest of the top five were not far behind as there was only a 31 second spread from Kimball to the 5th place finisher for the team, John Stansel '15.
