2012 BU Terrier and USM  

Bates Shines at BU Terrier Invitational and USM

The team split up to compete at two different meets this weekend; one group went to compete at the BU Terrier Invitational and the USM Invitational.

BU:
David Pless’13 finished third overall in the shot put, first among D3 athletes, with a throw of 54-10.25. He followed up his personal best in the weight throw from last weekend with a new personal best, increasing it to 59-9, good enough to get him fourth.

James Lepage’13 ran a 1:54.4 in the 800, the second best time among D3 runners at the meet.

Noah Graboys’14 ran a fast time of 14:50.27 in the seeded section of the 5k.

Mike Martin’14 had a big pr in the 5k with a time of 15:02.96

USM:
Chris Halstead’14 and Charley Kenyon’15 went 1-2 in the 55 hurdles with times of 8.7 and 8.86. Charley ran 8.58 in the prelims, which was the fastest time of the day.

Duncan Briggs’12 won the triple jump with a jump of 40-11.25 and took second in the long jump with a jump of 19-3.5

Sam wood’12 took second in the mile with a time of 4:41.07

Zack Pollich’15 finished third in the 600 with a time of 1:29.93

Sean Colligan’12 finished second in the 3K with a time of 9:26.32

John Wisener’14 won the pole vault with a vault of 13-5.25
