me a few years back...)
I am a full professor in the Biology
Department at Bates
College.
I normally teach:
When
I am not teaching, I do research in plant physiology,
physiological ecology, development, structure and function relationships
in plants, and sponsor student research on a variety of related topics.
Before I came to Bates,
I was a graduate student at the University
of California at Santa Cruz where I studied
controlling mechanisms underlying rapid plant cell growth. To sneak a peek

out some interesting pages related to plants and all other things that
grow, take a gander at my page 'o links.
