Syllabus Catiline - primary sources Catiline - secondary sources Imber's homepage

Monday (7/7) - Orientation

Please have reviewed Sallust’s Bellum Catilinae. If you have time to review Cicero’s Catilinarians, it couldn’t hurt. I’ve attached a list of primary and secondary sources on Catiline that you might find helpful after the syllabus.

Tuesday (7/8)– Please have read the Florentine Material

*Note: the actual length of the readings is brief, although the page count is long. I included introductions to the modern editions/translations so you could read some background material if you chose to.

Wednesday (7/9) - Please have read the Elizabethan Material

Thursday (7/10) – Please have read the Ibsen Material

Friday (7/11) – Please have read the Saylor material
