Genzyme Tissue Repair, a leading developer of biological products for the
treatment of cartilage damage, severe burns, chronic skin ulcers, and

associate media director at Arnold Communications in Boston. He and Andrea

Denenberg works in the Curatorial Department at the National Museum of American

construction law.... Last winter and spring Anne Jamieson crewed on a 53-foot
sailboat for a tour of the Caribbean, doing every task on board from navigating
to provisioning to fishing.... Peggy Judge is manager of compensation and
benefits at Cole-Haan and has bought a house in Biddeford.... Until recently,
Kathryn King Byrn was a leader of a support group for families new to the
Army.
She has left for Texas with husband John, an Army captain.... Karen LaConte
Roberts recently was promoted at Fleet Bank as a senior account manager for the
Retirement Plan Services Group, and also coaches soccer in Swampscott. She and
Andrew '92 live in Lynn.... In Camden, Susan McBride is an associate
producer
for a small documentary film company.... At LTV Steel, Marc McCaffery has
been
promoted to sales and marketing manager.... Laurie McDonnell works in Portland
for the Maine Women's Fund.... In Chicago, Kristi Morgan Provasnik is an
elementary school social worker. While he works on his Ph.D.in American
history, husband Stephen also teaches freshman English at DePaul Univ. near

daughter Clarity.... Stephen Muggeo is a psychotherapist for adolescents,
adults, and families at Scarsdale (N.Y.) Family Counseling Service. Living in
Connecticut, he continues mountain biking, climbing, and hiking and runs an
adventure-based counseling program for adolescents for their increased
self-esteem and leadership skills.... Jennie Munoz-Lewis reports visits with
Jessica (Jeong) and Chris Wright '89 and with Yoon Joh who
is working hard on
her dissertation in New York.... Living in Alexandria, Va., Andrew Nicely is an
associate with the D.C. office of the Chicago company, Mayer, Brown &
Platt.... During the winter, Spencer Ordway attends Camp Fairs up and down the
East Coast. An assistant camp director for Winona Camps, he is responsible for
staff training and camper recruitment. He and wife Jennifer live in
Portland.... Craig Palmer, who wants to teach German, has a bookkeeping job at
the Univ. of Vermont in their graphics and printing office. He and partner Sam

trip around the world.... Dan Record loves his job as fourth- and sixth-grade
counselor in Berlin, N.H. He also coaches intramural soccer and basketball and
varsity high school tennis. He and Ann Elise (Rodrigues) enjoy the beauty of
the White Mountains. She is an at-home mom, gives piano lessons, and has

students.... Dan Swartz celebrates his seventh year in Budapest. His
foundation, The ZHABA Collective, is in the second year of successful
facilitator trainings, and organization and management workshops for
environmental groups in Ukraine, Lithuania, Croatia, Macedonia, Poland, the
Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Germany.... Having completed his Ph.D.,
Peter Trask has begun a postdoctoral fellowship in behavior medicine at the
Univ. of Michigan, after completing his Ph.D. in clinical psychology and an
internship in London, Ont. "I am excited about my fellowship, because it allows
for a combination of research and clinical work. My long-term goals are to go
East at some point. I have become very attached to Christine Swartz. She is a
wonderful person and we are finding that remembering the Bates years served as
a good springboard and made getting to know each other easier."... Ted Walls is

Baker has left D.C and
moved to New Haven where he is attending Yale School of Management. He enjoys

last year as an adjunct faculty member at DePaul University where he taught
public speaking. He and Erin (Lydon '92) live in Evanston, Ill. He continues to
work on his dissertation and she attends Northwestern/Kellogg for her M.B.A.
Look for an album by Steve's band, Post Office, which was due out last October
on a local independent label.... Megan Black is busy in Crested Butte, Colo.,
where she works as a ski instructor and Little League coach. She visited Jen
Parmelee Huddleston and Matthew '90 and their baby last fall, and last spring
she made a trip east to see Jen MacKenzie in New York City.... In Calif., Ian
Bleakney, who is beginning his fourth year as a teacher in an Oakland public
school, says that he's learning far more than he's teaching.... Andrea Brennan
Ayres moved to Connecticut to begin suburban life as a commuter to NYC....
John
Caron headed back to Poland for a year to teach English in a teachers' training
college. He hopes to return to the United States in the fall of '98 to pursue
graduate studies in foreign service/diplomacy.... Tom Caron has accepted a
position at the law firm of Eaton, Peabody, Bradford & Veague in Bangor....
Jon Child is a hydrogeologist at Fuss & O'Neil. He and wife Liz Rosenberg
live in Hadley, Mass., and love the greater Amherst-Northampton area.... Tricia
Close Gardner is in her fifth year at Cony High School in Augusta as a resource
room teacher, working with learning disabled and mentally retarded children.

graduation, Vicky Coombs has been clerking for Chief Justice Michael

an E.R. doctor at Boston City Hospital, where he works with Peter Weimersheimer
'79. In his spare time Ted hangs out with Steve Katz and occasionally sees
Sheri Pizzi... Gordon Dean lives in San Francisco, where he works on
children's
software and does some free-lance illustration. Since January 1997, he's been a
volunteer in the bird department of the San Francisco Zoo.... Charles Dinklage
is a financial advisor with Karr Barth Associates, and in her new job Kendra
Sowers writes training and documentation materials for Smith Kline Beecham
Clinical Laboratories. They enjoyed seeing fellow Batesies at the Philly Bates

'90.... Kristyne Edwards Stiteler has decided to continue studying, this time
in a pediatrics/binocular vision residency/M.S. program. She enjoys Ohio State
Buckeye games.... Mike and Ellen Rhodes Evans bought their first
home this
summer in the Boston suburbs.... Jim '89 and Megan Falk Pickette
moved to New
Jersey last September. Megan is now a business analyst for Ortho Biotech
there.... Since graduation, Victoria Gifford Templeton has passed the
California bar and currently is an attorney for the technology finance division
of Hewlett-Packard in Silicon Valley. She and native Californian husband Alan
bought their first house this past May and live in Sunnyvale.... Liz Gillis,
with one more year of school in a PNP program, is busy writing her thesis and
planning a wedding.... Caspar and Kathleen Robbins Green live in Bowdoin. Cap
is the pastor at the West Bowdoin Baptist Church and Kathleen works part-time
as a C.N.A. and also takes seminary classes. Last summer they traveled south
and saw Katherine (Wise '92) and Bill Pinches '93 and Andrew. Contact

Lewiston, Cynthia Gutmann is in her second year as a social worker in the
Auburn school system. During the summer of '97 she made her fourth trip down
the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon and then spent a week on the Salmon
River in Idaho. She also hiked in Arizona, Idaho, Utah and Maine!... Sharon
Higgins hopes to finish her dissertation by next spring.... Busy with children
two and "new," Terri Lynn Hockman Byerly would love to hear from Batesies
she's
lost track of.... Aaron Humphrey lives in Portland, Ore., where he does
lighting design and coaches a children's ski team on Mount Hood. He recently
won an International Illumination Design Award for one of his projects, and was
voted instructor of the year by the ski team.... Trina Janes has a new position
at the Rotary Foundation.... Sarah and Paul Johnson left Washington,
D.C., last
summer and moved to St. Paul, Minn. He hopes to work in government relations
due to his experience working for Senator Patrick Leahy, and plans to pursue
his M.B.A. at the Carlson School of Management at the Univ.of Minn. Paul stays
in touch with classmates Mike Clarke, Greg Ehret, Steve
Oleksiak, David Strupp,
all of whom are married now, and with Rich '90 and Heather Falk
Noland '92 He
also says that Rick Crawford's band, Slycee Jenkins, has released its first
CD.... Jeff Kubick lives in Littleton, Mass., where he is a software trainer
and installer for Geac Computers, a hotel software company. His job takes him
on the road for several weeks at a time, and while in the Los Angeles area, he

spent Labor Day weekend

dissertation in August and started a new job at Johns Hopkins as a research
associate in the fall. She recently saw Nancy Heim whose job brought her to the

Hannah, and with Sasha and Corrine Coburn Nikolenko who took a trip to Russia
to see his family.... In her second year at the Univ. of South Carolina, Mary
Lehman says she misses the snow!... Robin Levin Marshall lives in Seattle and
has run into Suzanne Giles '93, Tom and Lisa Beck Rogers '89 and their
two
children. Robin works at a private high school in charge of the $9.5 million
capital campaign. She enjoys married life and invites Batesies to call her for
an underground tour of the area.... Adam Lynn says that married life is
treating him well. He looks forward to receiving his doctorate in clinical
psychology from Yeshiva University in June 1998.... Living in Chelsea, Kathleen
McCarthy works in New York City as director of special events and director of
Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation at the Archdiocese of New York. Classmate
Imogen "Bevin" Howard threw her a fantastic birthday party at a bar in TriBeCa
attended by Beth Walsh and Khairah Kain, among others.... Abby
McLaughlin is
working on her dissertation and will be doing research in Italy from February
through May 1998. She welcomes visitors.... For the past year in London,
Fiorella Marchitelli Massey has been working hard doing OTC bond options
sales/marketing to Italian and French investor clients. She attended a Bates
event in London, but there were no other Bates alums there so she hung out with
Williams and Bowdoin alumni. She welcomes a visit from Batesies in London....
In her second year as an eighth-grade English teacher in Northern Virginia,
Mary Marshall participated in the Northern Virginia Writing Project and has
lots of great ideas to take back to the classroom. While in Cape Cod, last
August she caught up with Caroline Smalley, Andres Bermudez '88,
Kendra Sowers,
and Charles Dinklage.... Celeste Morin Moody had a son, Adam
Edward Moody, born
on March 12. He's doing well and she is still working at Pioneer Plastics in
Auburn as a research and development chemist.... Christina Nelson Cook has
enrolled in the English literature M.A. program at the Univ.of Cincinnati....
Dave Nitchman is now the associate director of media and public relations at
the National Association of Manufacturers in Washington, D.C. He deals mostly
with environmental and small business issues in areas of economic policy and
studies. Life in Alexandria, Va., is nice but he is seeking employment in
Portland to be nearer family and friends. He and his wife Jean spent time with
Dave and Nancy Flynn Bass '92 this past spring in Colorado, and in Bar Harbor
over the Fourth of July.... Stacia Oakes Johnson worked at Medfield State
Hospital this summer. At the 10th annual Deep River (Conn.) Reunion of '92 and
'93 classes last summer, she and husband Kurt '94 caught up with classmates and

Parrott works full time as a senior account manager at a public relations firm
that specializes in high-tech companies; she also goes to Babson College part
time for an M.B.A.... Since May 1996, Kristin Presley Radford has been a social
worker in a day treatment center in Manchester, N.H.... On his return from
France earlier this year, Dean Putnam teaches French at a middle school in
Randolph, Mass.... Lisa Rosene left the advertising business for full-time
graduate work.... Living in Berkeley with husband Steve Knowlton, Liz Rynecki
loves it there. She is a writer for Ridge Associates, a company that teaches
interpersonal communication skills to corporate America.... Tim Shaw is halfway
through Columbia Univ. Business School. He spent the summer with the IBM
Consulting Group doing business transformation and information technology
strategy work. He also serves on the board of Minds Matter, an organization
that mentors underprivileged students and steers them toward academic summer
programs, and ultimately to college.... Scott and Katie Shuttleworth Baruch
have moved from Georgia to Florida, where he is campus architect at Florida
Atlantic Univ.... Did anyone catch the "Fox on Business Trends" 15-minute
segment when Roger Sion was spokesman for Andersen Consulting in its use of
a
corporate concierge service and seen on The Fox News Channel, the network's
nationwide cable affiliate? Lisa (Comer '92) is a senior media planner at
Arnold Advertising. She handles the account of HONOR, an ATM card company. When
HONOR sought a dog to appear on the cover of their direct-mail piece, the Sions
volunteered their golden retriever, Riggo (named for Hall of Fame Redskin John
Riggins), who is the "adorable little pup" on the cover of the monthly
statement. On a recent trip to Boston they saw Dan and Kim Peard
Coccoluto and
new baby, Lauren. They also saw Mike Oberst and Matt Smith at the
wedding of
1992 classmates Fawn Johnson and Guy Stevens.... Kim Small
produces the morning
show at Newschannel 8, the local ABC affiliate, in Connecticut. She spends lots
of time in Boston and visits with Mike and Ellen Rhodes Evans,

Smith now works at St. John's
School in Houston as the director of community service.... Scott Smith lives,
works, and plays in the 10,000-foot mountains south of Breckenridge, Colo. He

Matt and Tracy Talbot Spencer, still living in D.C., enjoyed visits from

A to Zoo, sells wildlife jewelry and keepsakes to retail stores, zoos,
aquariums, and museums around the country.... Classmates send their loving
sympathy to Meredith Tewhey Bernard whose husband, Tim, died in October
1996
after a three-year battle with a brain tumor. Throughout his illness Tim
maintained his spirit and sense of humor. His memory is an inspiration to
Meredith.... Stuart Titus is the associate director of admissions at Pingree
School in South Hamilton, Mass., where he also teaches two sections of English
and coaches lacrosse.... Living on Nantucket, Martina Todd works for a surgeon.
She enjoys life there and says that it's a lot like Bates -- there's not much
you can get away with without the whole island knowing. She recently saw Andy
and Paula Shea Stabnick, and year-old Cole, on Martha's Vineyard.... After
working at Seeds of Peace International Camp -- a program that brings Arab and
Israeli children together and teaches them coexistence in an American summer
camp setting -- in August Betsy Tomlinson began a new job at Loomis Chaffee
School in the admissions office, where she directs the community service
program and heads a girls' dorm. She's curious to know who else lives in the
Hartford area.... In July 1996, Doug and Sharon Williams Schultz moved to the
Albany (N.Y.) area. Sharon is an at-home mom with baby Mallory and sister
Carolyn who is 3.... Kristin Wolcott recently moved to Ithaca, N.Y., to join
her boyfriend, Jim. She is a therapist at a community mental health agency....
Mike and Suzi Ziegenhagen King still live in Montrose, Colo. Suzi does some
computer consulting and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity in her spare

hydrogeologist in environmental consulting. She and husband Chris enjoy working
on their 1870s house in Rutland.... Congratulations to John MacDougall who has
received a Fulbright Fellowship to do field research on the island of Lombok,
Indonesia, to understand how Buddhism was established on the island. A religion
major, John spent his junior year in Malang and Bali. He was co-director of a
study program for American college students in Bali. Later with Professor
Kemper he organized a study program in Bali for Bates students. He is a Ph.D.
candidate in anthropology at Princeton.... Now in Atlanta, Colin Marquis is a
meteorologist for The Weather Channel. If we look closely we may be able to see
the back of his head!... In fall 1996, David Merrill was finishing his M.A. in
math at Colorado Univ./Boulder, and planned to return to Maine with his wife
and "best friend," Emma Holder (McGill '92) to "start his job search."...
Colleen O'Brien is a master's candidate in environmental education through
Lesley College and the National Audubon Society.... In Boston, Bill Salie is a
technical recruiter at Contact Solutions.... Continuing to audition and act in

of At the Black Pig's Dyke at the Theatre Outlet in Allentown. He and Caroline

July, Laura Beardsley is clerking for the New Hampshire Superior
Court in Dover and loves her job though missing Portland.... "I am so
happy out in Denver," says Heidi Bishop who is in her second year
as assistant director of media relations at Denver University. "My door
is open if anyone is in the Denver area."... After job hunting and teaching
at her old high school, Sheila Brennan landed an internship at
the Smithsonian's Natural Museum of American History where she is an education
specialist at the Navy Museum. "On my second day of work I literally ran
into Michael "Mac" Mclean who had just started working in the building
next to mine."... Also in Washington, Patrick Callahan is running
a research team at the National Republican Senatorial Committee. He and
wife Jennifer recently purchased a home in D.C.... Mei Lun Chau
writes from Hong Kong: "Got a permanent position with Caribiner Asia where
we just finished producing the handover ceremony and the British farewell
ceremony. So much fun, but hard work! I loved every minute of it."...
Laurie Leigh Clark teaches English at Hebron Academy.... In Philadelphia,
Ernie Cloutier began to practice corporate law at Dechert, Price
& Rhoads.... In Washington, D.C., Jill Cotroneo Weise is a
senior economist at Ernst & Young. Husband Peter, a graduate student
at Georgetown Univ., holds an M.A. in cultural studies from Humboldt Univ.
in Berlin and was a TA at Bates in 1993-94.... Last July, Michael
Cowhig took the bar exam, and in September began work at the Boston
firm of Sullivan & Worcester, LLP.... Still living in Atlanta, but
a New Englander at heart, Keri Dailey is a bankruptcy paralegal
for a real estate law firm.... In her third year of dental school, Meredith
Davis is finally starting to treat patients. Jonathon Bowden '95
and Mark Medaugh '79 also are in her class.... After attending
two summer institutes in biotechnology, Christy Dudley Lajoie has
returned to teaching science at Thornton Academy in Saco.... Jacquie
Epsimos is still in Boston, working as marketing director for the
Northside Mall. She is having a lot of fun doing PR, advertising, event
planning and special promotion for a mall with 125 stores -- "It gives
me a chance to be creative," she says.... Living and working in Jackson,
Wyo., Alyssa Faber enjoys mountain life in the Tetons. She is skiing,
biking, hiking and camping a lot.... Conor Fennessy has relocated
to Princeton from Boston. He has a new job at the State House in Trenton
with the Assembly Republican majority office.... After graduation, Vanessa
Flaherty worked for a year at a non-profit environmental group in
Boulder, Colo., then decided to move to Breckenridge to ski. For the past
two years she has skied about 80 days a year, was managing innkeeper of
a 10-room bed and breakfast. Last summer she learned how to row an oar
raft on white water and has been running local 10k and longer trail races....
In her second year of grad school, Courtney Fleisher says she is
"exhausted and impoverished" but finally seeing clients (in clinical psych)
at Kent State.... Last summer, Jason Fraser worked in New York
as an associate at Donovan, Cersive Newton & Irvine. He "can't wait
to take the bar."... In Seattle, grad student Katherine Frank teaches
undergraduate English at the Univ. of Washington. Husband Dave Beers
is a national coordinator at Microsoft Sidewalk project.... In Bethel,
Jordan Ginsberg says he is "skiing in the winter, recreating in
the mountains of Maine in the summer."... After doing field work in Bolivia
last May, Matthew Grove took a three-month break from his dissertation
at Duke. He has been an intern for Anadark Petroleum Corp. in Houston,
Texas -- a great change of pace, but "I'm ready to get back to my research."...
Linton Harrington has moved to Puntarenas, Costa Rica, to teach
science and math for a year at a bilingual school.... Toby Haug

area.... Heather Heimuli says, "I am burning the midnight oil in
Philadelphia as a recruiter for Coopers & Lybrand.... Living in Charlestown
with classmate Erica Frew, Elizabeth Holland works for State
Street Bank & Trust in mutual funds. This past year she completed
the Boston and New York marathons as well as the Escape from Alcatraz
triathlon.... Before starting a doctoral program in history, Margaret
Homberger worked in Leeds, England, for a computer games company.
Last summer she had a holiday in the south of France.... In Hartford,
Conn., Rebecca Hunsicker is an associate director of admissions
at the Watkinson School, and this year she is a volunteer advisor to the
ninth-grade class. She takes a management class at the Univ. of Hartford
and ballet at the School of the Hartford Ballet "to keep my mind and body
alert." She is excited about her new adopted 7-year-old sister, Yu-Li,
whom she with her mother and sister brought back from an orphanage near
Beijing, China.... In Belfast, Denis Howard works for Harborside
Graphics Sportswear, and notes that one of the company's T-shirts is worn
by Michelle Pfeiffer in One Fine Day. He also says his car appears in
Stephen King's Thinner. "Watch the parking garage scene as the hero drives
in -- the white car parked behind the hero is mine. You can almost see
the Bates sticker!"... In Waldoboro, Emily Jackson Sanborn teaches
a multi-age fifth and sixth grade. Husband James is an administrator for
a home counseling agency. "We are incredibly happy," and find Mid-coast
Maine fun with lots of swimming, hiking, biking and company.... Amy
King began a new job in June at MIT doing research in comparative
medicine in hopes that it will help get her into veterinary school....
Jenna-Marie Maconochie McClintock began teaching eighth-grade earth
science in Bernards Township, actually a beautiful part of New Jersey!....
Chiara Mecagni is doing research that correlates ankle flexibility
and balance in elderly, community dwelling women. She lives in the community
with six other students: "stimulating, practical, interesting."... John
Morrissey is in the Development Office at Brown. Previously he had
been assistant director of annual giving at Bates....Since graduation,
Laura Mytels has been working with Girl Scouts in Washington, D.C.
She says she's learned lots about nonprofits, and "spent lots of time
writing perky stories about girls today." She also has done literacy tutoring
with the same student for nearly three years "and it is wonderful to see
his progress." Laura and roommate Margot Hostie see lots of Bates
friends in their spare time.... Staci Nisbett works full time
as an office manager while working on an M.A. at Johns Hopkins.... In
Frankfurt, Germany, Katherina Osmers has been doing an internship
at Deutsche Bank. Her project is on the Euros (prospective European currency
from 1999 on) implication for Eastern European countries. "Quite an interesting
topic," she says. She now is faced with a semester full of written and
oral exams for her German diploma in economics.... Class Agent Allyn
Pazienza moved to Van Nuys, Calif., last June to look for a job in
education. She says the state is crazy but beautiful.... Living and working
in Brookline, Mass., Arlen Percival and Wesley Shim '93
travel back to Bates occasionally to see Wesley's "little brother and
Deansman John '97." Last summer they had a relaxing and fun trip
to Acadia National Park.... Elizabeth Polizzi still works at Merck
& Co. as a research biochemist. She began part-time grad school at
Lehigh last fall.... In Los Gatos at the foot of the Santa Cruz Mountains,
Lauren Popell works at a start-up Internet company, creating a
marketing plan from scratch. She plays roller hockey in a coed league,
goes mountain biking and skiboarding, and went skydiving in July!... In
1995-96, Melissa Prodis was a volunteer in the eastern rainforest
region of Guatemala. An education promoter for rural villages, she helped
teachers make classrooms more interesting for kids and raised money for
supplies. Back in Connecticut, Melissa took a course in home-birth practice
and taught at a preschool. Last February she returned to Guatemala, apprenticed
with some traditional birth attendants. Now she is back home in Guilford,
Conn., committed to three years of grad school in nursing.... Derek
Reed works for Baystate Financial Services in Boston and Karen
(Tagliaferro) teaches Spanish at Danvers High School.... Ayr Robinson
and Duncan White '95 live in Venice, Calif., right off the
famed boardwalk. First working on low-budget feature film sets, Ayr now
produces documentaries. She and a business partner have distributed their
first title on breast cancer, with a second in production on the legendary
cabaret singers of New York City. Duncan has finished directing his first
feature film and works in feature films as assistant director and production
manager.... Last September Scott Rose worked in the litigation
department at Willkie, Farr and Gallagher until January '98 when he was
to begin a clerkship for a federal judge in Brooklyn.... In Minneapolis,
Mike Silverson still works as proofreader and editor with Imation
and 3M. He also is learning to play the guitar.... After she worked as
a consultant for Limited Inc.'s Bath and Body Works last year, Susan
Spano planned to move to Virginia Beach in November since her boyfriend,
Chad, starts Naval Intelligence School. She visited Maureen Gwinn
in Orlando, drove to New Orleans to see friends, and attended a Navy ball....
Isaiah Stackhouse and Frith Ann Breitzer '96 enjoy living
in the Bay Area of California, where she is studying journalism.... Sherry
Stadig will be Dr. Stadig on her June 6 graduation from New England
College of Osteopathic Medicine.... Waiting for medical school replies,
Bill Surkis lives with Heather Emerson `93 while she finishes graduate
nursing school. Bill continues to work as an EMT.... After she spent two
years following graduation in Boston, Sally Theran moved to East
Lansing, Mich., with her boyfriend. She worked at the state Department
of Community Health as the data quality analyst on the Breast and Cervical
Cancer Control Program. She also worked part time as an interviewer on
a project that examined the effects of domestic violence on women's health.
During the summer she saw several Batesies in her travels.... Last summer,
Jacques "Bunky" Vroom did strategic planning for the Southland
Corp. (corporate offices for 7-Eleven). At the wedding of former classmate
Eric "Homer" Weston in Colorado Springs last August, he said "the
wedding and scenery were beautiful."... Last summer Jamie Wallerstein
worked at Children's Legal Services in Boston and loved it. He is now
certified as a guardian ad litem by the Boston Juvenile Court and he continues
his trek to become a child advocate ultimately.... Good luck to Amy
Ward, who now owns a store, The Cottage, in Williamstown, Mass. She
and a partner, Amy Bryan Merselis (sister of John Bryan '95), sell
women's clothing, gifts and accessories at the popular shop near Williams

with the Office of Naval Intelligence at Virginia Beach. He looks forward

something like 12 jobs in two years, I headed to Yale's School of Forestry.

the training mecca of the world."... Last March Todd Kozikowski recorded
Shadows of the Moon, an original solo piano composition released by Turner Pond
Publishing. A physics major with special studies in music theory and
composition, Todd recorded Shadows at the Blue Jay Recording Studio in
Carlisle, Mass., where artists Billy Joel, Genesis, and Carly Simon also have
recorded.... Enjoying her new job and "learning a lot," Phyllis Paparazzo now
works at First Data Corp. in Boston as a financial analyst.... Living in
Sarasota, Fla., Jeffrey Poleshek is director of operations at Facilities
Resource Management Co.... In September, Dan Wright began work in
AmeriCorps in
Idaho. He is excited about his new job and says, "My primary purpose at the
school [in Horseshoe Bend] is to assist students with school-to-work or
school-to-college. It involves mentoring, tutoring, in-class assistance, and
community service." He continues, "A few years back, while at Bates, I never
dreamed I would be working in rural Idaho. A long way from my life at Bates,
