Trio Parole

Mozart Piano Trios
Saturday and Sunday, September 15th and 16th, 8:00pm,

Program Information for both Concerts

Trio Parole was founded in 1997 and started playing in public the following year. The trio appeared in Rome (under the auspices of ECHOS Associazione Musicale), in Salzburg (Mozart-Festival), France (Besancon Chamber Music Series), Germany (Leipzig, Halle) and Palermo, with works by Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven.

The trio is named after the cities in which the members lived when they met (PAris-ROme-LEipzig), and after the idea, prevalent in the 18th Century, that music is to be presented as speech and chamber music as conversation.

At present, the trio is engaged in recording the Mozart piano trios, including the fragments K. 442 in new completions. The recording will appear with the French label "Chordis et Organo."
