E-Prime Training Video - Stroop

This video will show you the basics of E-Prime in just 15 minutes!

You will learn:
1. How to create an experiment
2. How to run an experiment
3. How to examine the data

The experiment we will create examines the Stroop effect (Stroop, 1935). Briefly, the Stroop effect is the finding that people are slower to respond to the color a word is written in when the word is incongruent (e.g., BLUE, GREEN) compared to when the word is congruent (e.g., RED, BLUE).

The video moves very rapidly and you may need to pause the demonstration and re-watch certain portions. (You should find controls at the bottom of the video.)

After watching the video you may want to examine the experiment and data files that were created (stroop.es, stroop.ebs, and stroop-2-4444.edat). If you want to do this, you will need the dongle.
