The Friends of Mount Athos

This year's AGM will be held on Wednesday, 11 June at St Anne's College, Oxford. The programme will be as follows.

 

11.00      Coffee and registration in the Mary Ogilvie Theatre Foyer

 

11.30    Fr Enzo Bianchi, Prior of Bose Monastery in Italy, will speak on the subject

MONASTICISM AND ECUMENICAL DIALOGUE

 

13.15         Buffet lunch

 

14.15   AGM: election of officers, approval of accounts, any other business (guests are welcome but may not vote)
SGM: new constitution - see Important Notice

 

14.45   14.45 FR. Romilo, monk of the Hilandar Monastery, will give an illustrated presentation about the rebuilding of that monastery since the fire in 2004 entitled

RESTORATION: TRANSFIGURATION OF THE BODY OF CHRIST

 

16.00      Tea

 

17.00      Vespers

 

There is no charge for attending the AGM but for the rest of the day's programme (including coffee and tea) the charge is £10.00 / €14 / $20 (students £5.00 / €7.00 / $10.00). The charge for lunch is £15.00 / €21.00 / $30.00.
