He majored in Japanese, took JPN 201 ~ 402, and took the Junior Year Abroad (AKP) program. His life long goal was Aikido. He learned Aikido during his junior year in Japan. He offered the Aikido class at Bates. After graduating Bates, he went to Japan and still taking Aikido lessons, while teaching English at some schools. <by Ofuji, 1-10-06>
