Hi all, Due to developing memory problems with our "interim" web server, we're making an emergency change over to the iMac, as we've intended to do for months, now. I just copied over the entire set of files from the old server to the new, and everything appears to be working. Just to be sure, please test your pages over the next 4 days. If everything looks fine, we'll make the actual change on Monday night. Or, if you want to talk something over, you can reach me at 786-6455 during the day and 783-9104 during the evening. If you can't reach me at home this weekend, try 968-2777. Please don't make any changes to your pages on the current server over the next few days. But, please do feel free to telnet and ftp to avcnettest.bates.edu and make sure everything works the way you would expect, especially your password! Thanks, in advance, for your cooperation. It's too bad that it takes an emergency to get us going, but, at least it will now be done and we can move on.
