I would like to urge all of our Board members and any other interested individuals to be at Monday night's AVCNet meeting at the Library (Monday, Oct 23, 7pm, 3rd Floor Conference Room, Lewiston Public Library). The discussion on the future of AVCNet is very important. While many of us who have been involved for years do not seem to have large blocks of time to devote to AVCNet and it may seem discouraging at times that we are not able to fully accomplish all of our dreams and goals, I would suggest that we go into next week's discussion keeping in mind that the use of our primary services continues to grow. Although the growth is small, the need is out there. As Jim Hart pointed out in his detailed post, there are many volunteer tasks which could greatly further AVCNet. We need to ask ourselves if there is any way we can reach and bring in potential volunteers to broaden the support for our efforts.
