Mark your calendars for AVCNet's 2nd annual Making the Connection Conference. It will be held on Saturday, October 26 from 8 AM to 1:30 PM at the Lewiston-Auburn College. Plans include a dynamic keynote speaker on the future of the Internet and practical sessions on a variety of electronic communications issues. Other features: Vendor displays from area computer stores and Internet service providers. Open computer classroom for web surfing and one-on-one HTML tutorials. Registration fees are $5 for AVCNet members and $10 for nonmembers. Conference fliers will go out in early October.
