Here is a discussion which should not be limited to the Program
Committee list. Let's be careful that we get general AVCNet issues
out to AVCNet-discuss.
We need to clear this up at the Board meeting:

I'll work on getting a complete list for next week's meeting. If I
can't, I'll post it as soon as it's ready.
It turns out to be a little bit trickier than I thought, because people
didn't supply instructions with their checks. If someone paid more
than the $25, what does that mean? Is it just extra money, or is it a
multiple-year membership? One person wrote on the memo line of the
check, but I couldn't read it. Some checks covered more than one
person/organization, so I can't just list out the names in the bank
acct. register to get a list. Yet, it seems to me that it is the
Secretary's job to keep the membership list, not the Treasurer's. At
the moment, we have no Secretary, so that won't work, but I barely have
enough time to keep the finances up to date, never mind a membership
database. Some people used "sole proprietor" checks. Are they
registering for themselves or their business? It makes a difference,
because Maine Street is offering free web pages to members of AVCNet.
Maybe he won't "split hairs" about it, but...
Ugh....how can something so simple get so complicated?
