I don't thinkA the issue ofcharging for a service, which is made
possible by the free feeds from Bates, is limited to just Brian's
system. Many of our systems charge a fee for basic access. the
question is, "Should a member system be permitted to charge a fee
for access to information which is delivered to it at no charge?"
This issue has been discussed at Iength over the last two years, but
not resolved.
