Sprintnet is absolutely not the way to go. After many months of research i've found one provider in the NJ area will to sell me a 56k feed for $700 which includes the line cost. Compare this to $1300 for Alternet, PSInet, Sprintnet, and the varies others. This feed will also allow you do resell to whoever you wish at no extra cost if I remember right. The others want MUCH more to allow you to resell part of your feed. On top of this $700 a month you have roughly $3500 for CSU/DSU and Router. From there you need a modem or CSU/DSU and for each dedicated phone line for each remote machine you wish to add to the network. A dedicated line for modem would run roughly $20 each end if you qualify for residential or $40 if you need a business line. You would need one for each end of the link. If you wanted to go with a 56k line were talking just under $200 a month for an intown DDS2 line from Nynex plus equipment on both ends of the link. If were are lucky enough to locate AVCNets homes within 1/2 off the Nynex Cent

ral office on Ash Street then you can get considerable discounts on dialup lines! Dream Link was able to cut its cost by roughly 1/3rd by moving the system. To qualify for this discount you must sign a 7 year contract with Nynex. I'd be happy to give you more details if you want to speak in person. This is just a brief outline of my research. My current project is researching ISDN lines. Will know more in a few weeks.
