Homework: Homework will be assigned daily and discussed in subsequent classes. You are encouraged to work on the homework with other students. Homework will not be collected.

Projects: Students will be asked to complete 2 individual projects and 2 group projects. These projects may involve the following: students designing their own studies; collecting data that will be used in the classroom; or reading and analyzing the results of real-life studies. All projects should be typed. Style of presentation (where appropriate) and grammar will be taken into account.

Tests: There will be three in-class tests and one final exam on the following dates:

Test 1: Thursday, January 25
Test 2: Thursday, February 15
Test 3: Tuesday, March 20

Final: Wednesday, April 11 at 10:30am

There will be no make-up exams. If there is any reason why you must miss an exam, you must contact me at least a week in advance to make alternate plans.

Method of Grading: Grades will be based upon 10% for participation (attendance & in-class discussion), 30% for tests, 45% for the projects, and 15% for the final exam.

General Comments: It is highly recommended that you attend most, if not all classes. Be sure to be on time to class meetings. Tardiness is unacceptable and disruptive to the class. Students are expected to come to class prepared, having completed homework and all reading assignments.
