Before today's class you should read Moons and Planets, pp. 111-118. These sections are about the origin and nature of planets.


Wednesday, February 11

Before today's class you should read Moons and Planets, pp. 118-124. These sections are about the origin of moons, including our Moon. Note the summary list of concepts on p. 124.


Thursday, February 12, LAB

The lab today is on the measurement of blackbody radiation using an infrared radiometer.


Friday, February 13

Before today's class you should read Moons and Planets, pp. 127-134. These sections are an introduction to the study of meteorites, often called "Meteoritics". REMEMBER- by the end of the day you should have taken the Selenography quiz at least once.
