Wednesday, February 4

Before today's class you should read Moons and Planets, pp. 84-95. These sections are about the evolution of stars, especially as viewed through the Hertzsprung-Russell Diagram, and the development of planetary systems. Note the summary list of concepts on p. 96.


Thursday, February 5, LAB

The lab today is on the electromagnetic spectrum and using a spectroscope.


Friday, February 6

Before today's class you should read Moons and Planets, pp. 99-110. These sections are about the formation of dust and other early planetary materials.
