Admission Price Freeze Extended!
The "Scrod Bucks" ContraNomic Stimulus Program of 2008-2010

Our contributions to the Maine contradance community economic well-being are two-fold: (1) the admission price for the dance will remain at $8 for the foreseeable future, and (2) we have launched the "Scrod Bucks" ContraNomic Stimulus Program of 2008-10. Under this totally voluntary, and locally funded economic plan, all dancers at our Bowdoinham Dance receive a "Scrod Buck" that can be used to replace $1 of admission (a 12.5% savings!) to a subsequent dance until the recession ends (maybe longer, even!) This plan is NOT funded by taxpayer dollars, and ALL Scrod Bucks are redistributed back into the community. Over the course of the year, if you attend all the dances, that works out to free admission to 1.5 dances! WOW!

We hope you enjoy browsing Scrod Pudding's web site and do let us know what you think by stopping by at a dance or by email. We'll look for you at our next dance! Dance, sing, play music, and be healthy!
