Welcome to my page of original
tunes for contradancing! I've posted a sampling of my tunes for
public consumption, and will add more over time. All of these
tunes were composed on a chromatic hammered dulcimer, but should
lie well on most instruments. The chords are provided (on the
gif's), but I'd certainly love to receive suggestions for alternative
chords as the tunes get played by others. The tunes are posted
both in abc format and as ".gif" images. The abc tunes
were set using Jim Vint's ABCWin2
v2.1 shareware. To compile, listen to, and print the
abc format tunes you must have the appropriate abc software:

me to the zzounds.com abc website! The sheet music (gif)
was set in Finale(tm)
and offers more complete
notation of each tune, including guitar chords. The .gif images
can be printed directly from your browser window: File:Print,
and are sized to fit nicely on one page - very readable for us
+40-somethings with bum eyes!
