So what is this little essay? Another example of classical form from a controlling subject position?
By and large, yes. Caught in the typical response mode of philosophical debate. But do not mistake the subject position of the text for that of the author or of the readers. We are not essentially caught. We are the intersections of many discourses and texts, moving in and from many positions. It is a mistake to look to any single text to embody them all, or to expect that the motions and multiplicities and contrarieties should all be embodied in text, hyper or not. That is to continue the dream of the complete representation.
Which is not to say that we should not resist the institutions that try to force us to single reading and writing and being.
