Weighing its advantages and disadvantages, we can note that the term grammar already has some uses in architectural discourse, and it can be combined with other terms that remind us of the ongoing process and the open-edged quality of places that the term may hide. So we can let the term can function as a handy summary, especially when discussing multiple or conflicting sets of place norms and expectations.
