lived complexity

Lived complexity has to do with the awareness of structural complexity and of the place's insertion into larger contexts and processes. Actions lived complexly exist within richer and more interconnected horizons of meaning.

A structurally complex place can be lived in a relatively unaware manner, just as a structurally simple place can be lived in a more contextually aware manner. Nonetheless, greater structural complexity tends to increase lived complexity.
