GRADE 11. ADVANCED PLACEMENT CHEMISTRY.
Plans are tentative only. In addition to Advanced Placement review, other topics may include: Analytical chemistry / environmental chemistry. Advanced atomic chemistry, coordination chemistry, electrochemistry. Ceramics and other materials. Advanced testing of materials (x-ray diffraction, NMR, etc.).

• Generating oxygen; properties of oxygen.

• Calorimetry, specific heat
• Heat of fusion of ice
• Serial dilutions; spectrophotometry if possible
• Testing for selected ions: NH₄, S, SO₄, Cl, etc.
