EBBS Server News

Folks:

As you may have noticed, the EBBS server (including a host of 
e-mail lists as well as a web server) has been off-line for the past
several days.  This was due partly to the machinations of a system
hacker who accessed the system remotely and caused a number of 
system-level problems.

Fortunately (and after some 56 hours of servertude on the part
of your merry SysAdmin), I believe most of the problems have
been corrected.  

The EBBS ListProcessor is now back on-line and should be operating 
normally (please contact me at the address below if you notice 
problems after the date/time of this note).

I'm still working to restore the web site, so if you're an EBBS
webuser, please check again later this evening at the usual address.
