Guide to the Bates Website

Page types: General Use

Name: Screen shot: Associated XSL Stylesheet(s): Where used? Who created it?
Navigational Homepage NavigationalHomepage.xsl For sectional home pages that are entirely navigational. No banner graphic or marketing paragraph. Features an alphabetical navigation on the left and conceptual navigation in the middle, with highlighted content (news and a profile) on the right. Ken at Bates
Subsite Home Page SubsiteHomePage.xsl

An introduction to a set of similar pages. Think of it as a chapter heading in a book.
For example, department offices would use this as the "home" page for their department "subsite."
Note: most users would not have to do much tweaking to their SHP after it is built; however, the teasers and intruder are available for customization.
