The Bobcats (3-7) dropped their seventh game of the season to a ranked opponent, losing 9-2 against Colby (8-5). The Bates offense never got on track as lading scorer Erin Flynn (Newton, N.J.) was held without a goal for the first time this season. Sophomore Nina Pickering (Kennebunkport, Maine) and first-year Sarah mcGrath (Middlebury, Vt.) had Bates' two goals, while sophomore Blaine Hudson (Madison, Conn.) picked up an assist.
