LEWISTON, Maine — The Bates College women's lacrosse team broke a 6-6 tie by scoring three goals in a 52-second span and cruising from there as the Bobcats defeated Connecticut College, 14-7, in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) showdown today.
