BATES WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CRUISES TO 96-47 VICTORY

LEWISTON, Maine — All 12 active players on the roster scored points tonight as the Bates College Women's Basketball team improved their record to 11-6 with a 96-47 victory over the visiting Endicott College Power Gulls.

Bates jumped out to a 56-23 halftime lead by shooting 53 percent (24-45) and finishing the half hitting 10 out of their last 11 attempts. The Bobcats set the tone for the game with a defensive pressure that resulted in 29 total turnovers committed by Endicott.

Bates had three players in double-figures; first-year forward Lauren Dubois (Beverly, Mass.) came off the bench to lead all scorers with 18 points on 8 of 10 shooting. Junior forward Kate Dockery (New York, N.Y.) added 16 points, while senior co-captain Kate McLaughlin (Laconia, N.H.) chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Endicott was led by senior co-captain, Sarah Dunfey (Mansfield, Mass.) who had 9 points and 6 rebounds. Junior forward Carla Pacione (Haverhill, Mass.) added 9 points. The Power Gulls drop to 8-9.
