SOFTBALL DROPS A PAIR TO MAINE-FARMINGTON

FARMINGTON, Maine - University of Maine-Farmington senior pitcher Crystal Hulit dominated the Bates batters on Wednesday afternoon, allowing just one earned run and six hits in 14 innings as the Beavers swept a doubleheader from the visiting Bobcats, 7-1 and 6-1. Bates senior 2B Emily Morningstar (W. Newton, Mass.) was the Bobcats' lone bright spot, picking up two hits in the second game.
