FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FOURTEEN NAMED TO ACADEMIC ALL-NESCAC TEAM LEWISTON, Maine -- ourteen Bates College student-athletes have been named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Academic team for the Fall 1998 season. Criteria for the All-Academic team are: a student must be at least a sophomore in academic standing; must be a significant contributor to his/her team and appeared in 50 percent of the team's contests; and must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or higher.
