TWIEST EARNS SECOND CROSS COUNTRY ALL-AMERICA HONOR

Bates College junior Matt Twiest (Albuquerque, N.M.) earned All-America honors from the National Cross Country Coaches Association for the second straight year at the NCAA Division III National Championships, held at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. Twiest finished 17th out of 180 runners with a time of 25:31. Classmate Mike Danahy (West Windsor, Conn.) just missed All-America honors, placing 56th with a time of 26:11.
