NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Bates College men's tennis team rebounded from a tough loss a day earlier to defeat the United State Coast Guard Academy, 6-1, giving the Bobcats their first win of the season.

After two three-set matches in the top two spots, including a come-from-behind win by sophomore Milko Todorov (Sofia, Bulgaria) in the top spot, the Bobcats dominated the last four singles spots, as the four Bates players lost just six games between them. Senior Sean Bilsborrow-Koo (Durham, N.C.) made a clean sweep at No. 4, while John Tucker (Enfield, Conn.) and Chris Danforth (Belle Meade, N.J.) at Nos. 3 and 5 respectively, only dropped one game each.
