SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Bates College men's soccer team played their fourth overtime contest of the season, dropping a 3-2 decision to the host Springfield College Pride.

Apstein extended the lead to two with his second goal of the afternoon in the 37th minute. The Pride (10-3) cut the lead in half shortly after the start of the second half and were awarded a penalty kick in the 89th minute to tie the game. After a scoreless first overtime period, the hosts notched the game-winner 1:39 into the second overtime.
