Bates 22, Maine Maritime 5
The Bates College men's lacrosse team (4-1) extended its winning streak to
three games with a 22-5 victory over Maine Maritime Academy (2-1). The
Bobcats were led in scoring once again by sophomore attack Mike D'Addario
(Locust Valley, N.Y.), who scored six goals and had a career-high three
assists in one game for nine points. D'Addario is averaging 5.2 goals and
6.4 points per game. Senior attack Jay Lively (No. Falmouth, Mass.) had
another strong game dishing the ball, picking up five assists and three
goals. Lively now has 15 assists over the last two games. First-year
players Dylan Cruess (Concord, N.H.) and Aaron Sells (Brookline, Mass.)
picked up four goals apiece. The Bobcats' schedule picks up this weekend
when they face NESCAC rivals Wesleyan at home and Amherst on the road.
