Four different Bates players had multiple goals as the Bobcats (5-3) defeated the United States Merchant Marine Academy (5-5) Mariners. First-year attack Aaron Sells (Brookline, Mass.) led the way with four goals and an assist, while sophomore attack Mike D'Addario (Locust Valley, N.Y.) had three goals and two assists, including his 100th career point. Senior Jay Lively (North Falmouth, Mass.) added three goals and an assist, while classmate Chris Howes (Concord, Mass.) rounded out the multiple goals scorers with two goals. Sophomore goalkeeper Dirk Huntington (Falls Church, Va.) stopped 15 of 21 shots on goal in 45 minutes of play.
