Trinity 15, Bates 10 BATES MEN'S LAX DROPS NORTHERN OPENER TO TRINITY, 15-10 CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Bates College men's lacrosse team (3-1) dropped their first game up north on Sunday, as the Bobcats fell to NESCAC rival Trinity College (1-0), 15-10, at Harvard University. In a first half that was a defensive struggle, Bates took a 3-2 lead into the locker room. Trinity answered in the third quarter, tallying seven goals, adding six in the fourth to clinch the win. The Bobcats were led by the attack tandem of senior Mike D'Addario (Locust Valley, N.Y.) and sophomore Jack Sandler (Hicksville, N.Y.), each of whom scored three goals. Junior midfielder Aaron Sells (Brookline, Mass.) and sophomore attack Dave Fredericks (Hartford, Conn.) both had a team-high two assists.
