(Taken from a Bowdoin College Press Release) Colby College first-year Ben Powell carded a three-over par 75 in windy conditions at the Brunswick Golf Club to earn medalist honors and help the White Mules win the Colby-Bates-Bowdoin Championships on Wednesday afternoon. Colby's team score of 418 was nine strokes ahead of both Bowdoin and Bates, which both scored 427.

Bates' Nick Brunero (West Warwick, R.I.) took second place with a 78 while Briam Shuman of Bowdoin took third with an 83. The victory wrapped up the best season in school history for the White Mules and Colby Head Coach Jim Tortorella was named the CBB Coach of the Year honors.
