The Bobcats, who improved by one place and almost 40 strokes from their 2000 showing at Bowdoin, were in fifth place after day one of the tournament. After tying for fifth place after day one, sophomore Andy Kadin (Short
Hills, N.J.) took top honors for the Bobcats. He finished in a tie for seventh
with a score of 158, nearly 20 strokes better than his performance from a year
ago. Sophomore newcomer Dominic Lee (Silver Springs, Md.) was second
for the Bobcats with a 170, while junior captain Doug Aho (Congers, N.Y.)
shot a 170.
