After taking regional power Trinity to overtime the day before, the Bobcats (0-4) came out flat at Keene State College (5-3), dropping a 3-0 decision.

The Owls scored twice in the first half, including once off a penalty corner, while Bates had a goal called back when junior Kim Holzer (Adams, Mass.) was whistled for not stopping the ball on a PC.

The Bobcats outshot Keene State, 15-14, but several second-half saves on senior co-captain Amanda Schall (Chevy Chase, Md.) prevented Bates from breaking through.
