WILLIAMS TOPS BATES, 5-0, IN NESCAC CONTEST

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Williams College sophomore Molly Jennings had two goals and an assist as the host Ephs (4-4, 2-2 NESCAC) defeated the visiting Bates College Bobcats (2-8, 1-5 NESCAC), 5-0, in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) showdown.

Jennings scored two goals in the final 11 minutes of the first half, while junior Stefanie Noering scored once in that span as Williams took a 3-0 lead into halftime. Noering finished with a goal and two assists on the day. The Ephs scored twice in the second half to complete the 5-0 win.

Bates junior goalkeeper Lindsay Gary (Del Mar, Cal.) had 19 saves in the losing effort.
